Startup Repair Loop, really need help!

Well first things first, I'm new to these boards and not the best with computers so please bear with me!

Basically the issue is that my computer won't boot. I have had it for just over a year and have never had any issues with it. It's protected and isn't used for anything dodgey, my brother uses it for SWTOR and I use it mostly for uni work and a bit of gaming here and there.

Anyway out of nowhere it failed to start. Its done this once before and last time I just told it start Windows normally and everything was fine. This time not so much.

It loads up Startup Repair even if I select start Windows normally as it fails to do so and restarts itself automatically. I left it to detect errors but when I checked it a few hours later it still said searching so I cancelled and left it. I tried again yesterday and have left it on for approximately 25 hours to no avail, it still says searching!

I've scoured the internet on my laptop for hours but most people at least get a window telling them that no issues where found and there are even ways of fixing it from there but mine won't even do that.

I have a lot of stuff I haven't backed up so if I can save it it would be greatly appreciated!

Also note that there are no pieces of hardware plugged into the machine at all, only the mouse, keyboard and monitor.

Thanks in advance and if you need any more info about my computer please ask.

Try running a Startup Repair three more times.

You could also try booting to the Recovery Management if you have not deleted the Recovery Partition or the PC/Laptop did not come with one.

To boot to eRecovery, try pressing ALT+F10 at the same time simultaneously, then select Restore to factory defaults. Select OK and the restoration process will begin. Finally press OK to reboot.

   Note
You will lose your data whilst trying to attempt this

You may also be able to purchase an Acer Recovery Disk if you do not have one:
Acer Store | Recovery CD

If this fails, your last option would be a Clean Install or a Repair Install

Work through these steps for when Windows 7 fails to boot to disinfect, repair system files, Startup Repair, if necessary rescue your files then run factory Recovery or clean reinstall with a Win7 installer we can help you obtain.

Thanks for your responses, I have been able to get onto that recovery page via Alt + F10 which I didn't know about and my computer is in the process of resetting but saving all my data to a back up automatically which is great.

I'll let you know if it is successful or not.. Thanks again!
