Startup Repair won't work

I have the same problem on my Acer Aspire 5738ZG with Win7 Home Premium. It's been going on for almost two weeks.
The Startup Repair won't work and the only way I can complete the boot is by reinstalling Windows (which I've done roughly every 2 days or so). I know it's something about explorer.exe not starting, but shouldn't a clean reinstall (recovery to factory settings) have fixed the error? I really don't know what to do and I'm afraid to just go and experiment things in the registry (unless I have clear instructions about what to do).
Is there any other way? I really need my computer to keep its windows for more than a couple of days... Thanks in advance!

Britton30, thanks for the reply. :-) Well, I'm not really sure myself what's going on. I've been reading around this type of issue and I've seen problems from years ago, similar problems I mean. Well, everything's going well, until a point when Win won't start. Startup repair is not working and I've seen explorer.exe may be the problem. The only way I could get in was by taking my laptop back to factory settings.

theog, thanks for your reply, I checked the link, and I understood that my hard drive brand is Western Digital, it redirected me to a site where I had to pick several products and I'm not sure which one I should pick...
