I have gotten an mp3 file to play on startup i.e. when the desktop is displayed after user login (a funny clip from The Cleveland Show) to enhance my Rallo Desktop background and as I thought it would do; it launches the .mp3 in WMP. The way I have achieved the startup sound is by adding it as a String Value in the 'Run' registry branch to point to the mp3 file on the root of the 'C' Drive is there some kind of command line way of telling windows to play the file but without launching the WMP GUI?
