Open msconfig from the Run box.
Click on the Startup tab then look for ASUS SETUP.
Disable it.
That should resolve the problem.

Yep the Asus setup (whatever you were installing was interrupted) or a disc was removed while the software was still open, I`ve done it
If Z`s suggestion does not work for some reason, check task manager, and delete the Asus task that`s trying to run.
