I'm dual booting Vista Ultimate(32bit) and Windows 7(64bit) build 7100, I'm trying to figure out how to set a static ip address in Win 7.
In Ultimate i just right clicked on network connection>>>>properties..and set the static ip there. but when i right click on the Network in Win 7 nothing happens.
I need to set a static ip because i connect to a Beyonwiz PVR through a D-Link DWL-G810 (thats connected to the PVR), it works O.K. in Vista, but not in Win 7
EDIT: just looked at post below (Sleep problems) and it showed how to get to the IPv4, set a static ip but my PVR still doesn;t see Win 7.
cheers
