I took this screen shot just as a visual aid to maybe try to answer this question. In this status window do you know how usually in the "From" and "To" the file that it is currently processing updates every few seconds? Well what I'm wondering, how you would be able to make it update instantly, instead of every few seconds?
Let me know if i need to explain more...

It updates as the files is being copied. In your screenshot, you are copying 44 files. If the first 10 each copy over in 1 second, the "Status Wndow" will update every second. If the reast of the files each take up 2 minutes to copy, then the updates will occur every two minutes....

Correct, although it may not seem "real-time" since it updates every few seconds, it most definitely is.
