I have a brand new Win 7 professional x64 system. I know nothing about virtualization.
I have some older 32 bit programs that I have installed using XP compatibility mode but there appear to be some (so far minor) glitches.
What do I need to do to run these programs reliably?
I want fast and easy...I'm not so savvy about this subject and reading through some of the posts in this thread has made me suspect that what I want to do is possible with a virtual machine but I have no clue as to how to get started or what I will need.
Is there a step by step tutorial ?
PS I have XP running on another machine and have the install disk.
