Hi,
I have been using XP for ages so I never run Vista. So I got a nasty suprise when I installed Windows 7. I always played my music with WMP, and in XP WMP automaticly mixes a stereo sound to all boxes in my 5.1 setup which is great. In W7 this isn't the case it just uses the front left an front right speaker. So I tried the Speaker Fill option which worked partially I got sound from all speakers except my subwoofer. Which results in a pretty crappy sound. Does anybody know an other media player which mixes a stereo sound to surround or does anybody have a trick to make it work in WMP?
Greets,
