I just have a quick question. Sorry if I'm out of place here but I don't where else to go. Does anyone know if the Phenom II x4 965 black edition comes with a stock cooling unit. Furthermore do most processors come with a cooling unit? Thanks for any feedback.

Brand new build. Still trying to work all the bugs out of it. I have never built a computer before.
Processors come with a heatsink and fan if you buy retail. However you can also buy 'OEM" processors. These will normally come with only the CPU and not much else. Pay attention how it's labled if you want to make sure you get what you really want.
A lot of system builders buy "OEM" because they have no need for a manual and heatsink and fan....we already know how to install it and use aftermarket coolers.
