I've had this blue screen now for nearly a year and become completey clueless of what to do, I've had it 3 times today and twice last night when in middle of playing the sims, is it possible tha Windows 7 has messed my computer up?

I have a system restore CD that came with my laptop with windows xp, would I be able to use that and go back to xp?

Any help with this blue screen would be appreciated.
