Still using Windows 7 Release Candidate (RC)? Read this!

If you’re still using the release candidate (or RC) version of Windows 7, you need to make plans to move away, as the expiration date is fast approaching.

Time flies when you're having fun with "7"! :roflmao:

It hardly seems that a full year has already gone by since the first beta downloads were just about to become available as many of us were anticipating. The panting for those first 7000 downloads to get a first hand look at 7 made people drull with anticipation there! (yee haaa...)

The RCs seen 4 months later were rushed at as well when the actual downloading started at 5:58pm Redmond time! When looking at the accurate time the "2 minute of the hour" meant it was time for those! The we saw the 10/22 launch finally arrive(yes!).

For those looking to upgrade out of an older now rather outdated Windows or were dissatified with Vista guess what? 7 became the solution! I should add "WINNING SOLUTION"!!!

What that comes down to is finally MS having a working formula that tool immediate notice with a working OS! And arriving right during the busiest shopping season of the year naturally. They timed it well.

I still had the 64bit RC on here until mid November. Despite all I put that installation through since May it was still in good working order and the main factor for going with the retail Ultimate right from the start once 7 was out.

Many however are still running the RC and may only know about the 6/1/2010 expiration and shutdown every 2hrs. starting on 3/1/2010 but be unaware of this latest information on messages appearing starting on 2/15/2010. Simply put "time is running out" if you haven't already upgraded to a retail edition.
