I had a BSOD error on Thursday which led to the loss of my desktop. Then today it happened again. I'm not very computer savy and I'm not sure how to post logs and update my motherboard or whatever. I'd like to fix this problem as it seems to be happening now as an issue. If someone could post how to fix a STOP Error 0x0000003B in the *dummies* version, it would be appreciated. Seems to happen when I switch back and forth from my MMORPG and Firefox.

Without the actual DMP file all I can say is the Usual causes: System service, Device driver, graphics driver, ?memory

I would run a system file check to verify your system files
(type cmd in search>right click and run as admin>sfc /scannow)

If the problem persists then download memtestx886 and run it for 5 passes.

You can also re-install the graphics driver.

Let us know the results

ken, I saw a reply you gave to someone in sept 2009 regarding a similar problem from masterj1337. You gave a link at the time which seems to be broken (http://windowsitpro.com/article/arti...-log-mean.html). I checked my event log and I'm seeing Kernal Power ID 41 every critical and was wondering if there's any new link or update on how to fix this. Meanwhile, windows resource protection did not find any integrity violations. I'm going to try to find that mem test and download it now as well. Hopefully, it's not too complicated to run and understand. I also downloaded Prime95 based on a recommendation on this board, but no clue what it's doing or what I'm supposed to do with it once it's done.

Hello !!

Here is the link to the MemTest86+ download it and burn it to a disk. Make sure you run atleast 6 passes.

I ran your Dump file seems like an issue with KeyScrambler Keyboard Encryption Driver (keyscrambler.sys) that was causing the crash i would recommend to uninstall the Drivers completely and reboot and reinstall it and see if that makes any difference.
