New PC build, appeared stable for two weeks, minimal programs installed, Avira AV.
Was coping photos from DVD-Rom to my documents. Not sure if this is coincedental? Two of the same stop errors.

Preliminary review through BlueScreenView indicates stop = 0x0000009f at driver ntoskrnl.exe.

Up until that point I have used all (default) drivers Win 7 Pro installed.
System is:
Core i7-930
Asus P6T Deluxe V2
Corsair 12GB DDR3 1600
Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB SATA
PNY Nvidia Quadro FX 1800
Lite-on iHAS124
Corsair CMPSU - 750W

Thank you in advance

This behavior occurs when drivers do not handle power state transition requests properly. The error message most often occurs during one of the following actions:

  • Shutting down
  • Suspending or resuming from Standby mode
  • Suspending or resuming from Hibernate mode
I would remove the DVD drive putt another one in its place and see if it dose the same thing, also your can try plugging the SATA cable into a different slot.
