stopping unwanted launching of a program

A program that I have installed in Win7 Ultimate, offers the tickable option to launch with windows; When I leave that unticked, it STILL launches automatically ! There is NO tickable option for it in the StartUp tab of MSConfig. How can I prevent it from launching ?

CCleaner | Tools icon | Startup button | Windows tab |
click on Save to text file button (bottom right side) |
accept Startup.txt as file name | SAVE button

list of SCHEDULED TASKS

CCleaner | Tools icon | Startup button | Scheduled Tasks tab |
click on Save to text file button (bottom right side) |
enter Scheduled Tasks as File name | Save button

List of INSTALLED PROGRAMS

CCleaner | Tools icon | Uninstall button |
click on Save to text file button (bottom right side) |
accept install.txt as File name | Save button


UPLOAD the startup.txt file
UPLOAD the Scheduled Tasks.txt file
UPLOAD the install.txt file.

Have a look to see if the program executable is mentioned in either or both of the following registry locations:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

Before we go messing around in the registry, let us let Microsoft do the work for us.

Post up the requested files.

Unless this is an unusual program, you are probably only one uncheck mark away from eliminating your problem.

Your problem interested me.

I download and installed Capture Text from capturetext.com.

You should have a blue icon in the right-hand side of the main screen taskbar (the "notification area")

Right-click on that icon, choose Settings, is the box about launching at startup time unchecked?
If not,then uncheck.

Here is a capture of that settings screen made using the Win 7 Snipping tool.
