Stopping Wordpad from changing sizes when moved?

I know I googled this quite awhile back and found an answer, now I can't remember what I term I used when googling and nothing I try now brings up an answer. This predicament brought me here and I'm hoping someone may be able to help.

How do I stop the Wordpad window from expanding each time I try to move it? I know I can click on the symbol in the upper left hand corner and click on move, that just gets to be a pain in the arse having to do it just to move a window a couple of inches so often in a small amount of time....:sarc:

I don't know the answer but I installed Atlantis Nova on W7 just because I hate the new Wordpad with the ribbon so much. It wasn't broken. They should have left it alone.

Try some free .rtf editors. Either that or get one of those Tray Icon type apps that monitors your windows and keeps them from resizing or something. Probably easiest to use a different editor.

If I could put Vista Wordpad on W7 I would!
