I had upgraded to 8mbps plan with my broadband provider couple of months back, earlier I was on 4mbps.

Ever since, I have upgraded my plan, I have been having strange loading issues with lots of sites. When I first try to load up the site, I get Problem Loading Page (error msg changes depending upon the browser). I have to keep refreshing multiple times to get the site even start refreshing properly.

I tried using almost every available browser but the prob doesn't go away. Only on Opera Turbo, usually I don't need to refresh multiple times for the page to load. Some times even after the website loads properly, if I don't use the site for a li'l while & try to open up a tab on the site, again the loading issues crop up only to force me refreshing another half-a-dozen times

On Tor Browser, I haven't come across this problem much, may be because its a Private Browser which uses proxy, as Private Window (FF) or Incognito (Chrome) didn't help either.

I'm not sure where the problem lies... I have been having head aches trying to refresh some times each site multiple times.. At times I'm forced to refresh nearly 10-12 times to get the page opening up. I'm scared at times, I might break my enter key with the way I'm forced to use it these days

I assumed it could have been a problem with virus or malware, so I have scanned found no issues. I tried Malwarebytes Scan, Avira Scan. Ran sfcscannow as well just to be on the safe side, no improvement.

I haven't done any hardware changes to my system in the past 2 months either.

I would appreciate any help that would give my fingers a bit of relief. I'm tired of this problem by now :sleepy:

Hi,
Clean boot,
http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/179159-troubleshoot-application-conflicts-performing-clean-startup.html
Click Start and type in the search box,
msconfig
Click on the suggestion on top or hit the Enter key,
Go to the Startup section and take some screen shots for a complete list,
Go to the Services section and on the bottom left Check the box to Hide All Microsoft services,
Repeat the screen shots,
See the links above my signature on how to take and upload screen shots here,
Cheers.

thanks for your assistance mate.

Do u want me to complete the above mentioned procedure after Clean Boot or prior to that ?

Just out of curiosity, how would clean boot help with the loading of sites ? If it was selected to one browser, we could understand but when the problem is same on all available browsers ...

sorry I'm really a noob @ these stuffs :o

edit:

Just forgot to mention... I have an alternative connection, it gives me just 128kbps. When I browse in that connection, I have no issues with any site. Its only since the upgrade of main speedy one the prob occurs.

Hi,
No problem,
I'd say Clean boot would be used first to see if anything is different,
If not the screen shots would at least give us/ me an idea of what's loading during normal startup,

Starting to sound like a network issue or a clash in networks,
The screen shots won't hurt if you don't mind the task of gathering them,
The links above my signature can help you if you need it,

Also use this I might ask for a network specialist to take a look at the in information,

Cheers.
