Hi there,

I have a very strange behavior on IE (not related to the version)
When I try to access a local web site IIS authentication, the field Login / Password does not exist :

attachment.php

The normal behavior:

attachment.php

This happens on all machines with our "last" Windows 7 Master. The Master has change of course, but a little ; update kb updates adding applications.

> The problem do not appear on an alternative browser (Firefox / Chrome)
> The problem still exist if I uninstall ALL applications
> The problem still exist if I update IE10 (integrated to the Master) to IE11
> Same behavior when I reset by defaut IE
> Same behavior if I start IE with -extoff

I'm lost...
I have thought of a KB but there is 245 installed. What delete ? ;)
If someone have a magical idea...?
Thank you !!

NB : This is not a language issue. Same issue in french or english

I'm not sure that I'll be able to help you other than to suggest that you edit your first post to have the images hosted on this forum. See this tutorial: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/9733-screenshots-files-upload-post-seven-forums.html Some people don't feel safe when clicking thru to image hosting websites.

Somewhat generic advice:

(including step 5)

Hi,
Thanks for the upload reminder. This is corrected.
Unfortunately the IE reset do nothing :(

Hi and welcome to SevenForums,
Try In-private browsing
If your ie shortcut is pinned to the taskbar right click it and click on Start In-private browsing,
Also Ctrl+Shift+P

If still no joy uninstall ie11 and roll back to ie10 and test,

You can also use this
Use Clean boot,
http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/179159-troubleshoot-application-conflicts-performing-clean-startup.html
Click Start and type in the search box,
msconfig
Click on the suggestion on top or hit the Enter key,
Go to the Startup section and take some screen shots for a complete list,
Go to the Services section and on the bottom left Check the box to Hide All Microsoft services,
Repeat the screen shots,
See the links above my signature on how to take and upload screen shots here,
Cheers.

Hi

I've already tested in-private browsing : same issue
I've already tested a clean startup : same issue

But... I've debugged IE with procmon + DLL Export Viewer and CurrProces...
And after few hours of debugging i've found that the DLL "authui.dll" was different on my new computers. This is a DLL Windows protected by UAC, so to modfifie it I searched and found a KB to modify this DLL :
KB2725279 (Windows6.1-KB2725279-v2-x64)
And after and install a reboot, the authentification correctly works!

So I guess the problem is this DLL "authui.dll" but why the version was different from another computer, I don't know...

Problem solve, and thanks for your help
