Hey guys, I have a strange BSOD problem and was wondering if anyone could sheed some light on it.

Whenever I attempt to watch a flash movie or BBC Iplayer on one of my monitors AND play a game on the other (DOW2, EVE, WOW etc) my computer will BSOD after 10 mins or so. Its a 0124 stop code which is meant to be a hardware error, but it seems to be software sprecific.

Some times its the following driver and exe

halmacpi.dll
ntkrnlpa.exe

and other times its these two

hal.dll
ntoskrnl.exe

This is a bit beyond me, and I belive the above drivers /exe are only kicking in to protect my hardware (I think). Any ideas guys????

Your .dmp file shows a stop error of 0x124 which is a general hardware error .

A "stop 0x124" is fundamentally different to many other types of bluescreens because it stems from a hardware complaint.

Stop 0x124 minidumps contain very little practical information, and it is therefore necessary to approach the problem as a case of hardware in an unknown state of distress.

You can read more on this error and what to try here... Stop 0x124 - what it means and what to try http://www.sevenforums.com/crash-lockup-debug-how/35349-stop-0x124-what-means-what-try.html

To enable us to assist you with your computer's BSOD symptoms, upload the contents of your "\Windows\Minidump" folder.

The procedure:

* Copy the contents of \Windows\Minidump to another (temporary) location somewhere on your machine.
* Zip up the copy.
* Attach the ZIP archive to your post using the "paperclip" (file attachments) button.

To ensure minidumps are enabled:

Go to Start, in the Search Box type: sysdm.cpl, press Enter.
Under the Advanced tab, click on the Startup and Recovery Settings... button.
Ensure that Automatically restart is unchecked.
Under the Write Debugging Information header select Small memory dump (256 kB) in the dropdown box (the 256kb varies).
Ensure that the Small Dump Directory is listed as %systemroot%\Minidump.
OK your way out.
Reboot if changes have been made.

These files are core Windows files and most likely aren't the cause of your problem. If they were the cause, you'd be likely to be experiencing a great number of issues - much more than the occasional BSOD.

Please provide this information so we can get started on troubleshooting your issues: http://www.sevenforums.com/crashes-debugging/96879-blue-screen-death-bsod-posting-instructions.html

While waiting for a reply, have a look at this discussion about STOP 0x124 errors: http://www.sevenforums.com/crash-lockup-debug-how/35349-stop-0x124-what-means-what-try.html

In short, STOP 0x124 errors are usually hardware related - but can be caused by compatibility, malware, or even some lower-level drivers (IME).

Here are my mini dump files. I ran a memery test and all came back well. The computer BSOD about 5 mins ago with no flash video playing. I was however playing EVE at the time. It is making me think that it is my graphics card :(
