Hi Folks, i am new to this site, i am using Windows 7 64bit Home, Core i5 M430 2.27Ghz, 4 GB RAM. Recently i have some problem with dllhost.exe. while playing Mp3s and Videos on KM Player, i switched to Media player. the comp uses almost 2 GB RAM and i have to dllhost.exe process running, It vanishes after a while, it eat up my memory and my comp crashes. Now everytime i click it freezes for a while, sometime i have to reboot, sometimes it will be normal.

Get Process Explorer when dllhost.exe appears, right-click on it, go to Properties, then head over to the Threads tab. Start Address should give a hint to what DLL is causing issues.

You might try and "Suspend" the process, if you are quick enough might get it before it goes away.
