Strange Firefox problem

I have two weird issues with Firefox since I installed Win 7 Professional 64 bit.

1.) No more little icons next to bookmarks. I have tried deleting them and adding them back, as well as just going to that page again, all with no luck.

2.) FF will not save any of my passwords for any site, no matter what I've tried.

Anyone else had similar problems?

Thanks

Which FF are you using?

I'm using both Firefox 3.6 Beta and Minefield 3.7Pre and neither have those problems. You might try Sync Places AddOn to get the favicons back. It also saves passwords. Once backed up maybe a complete reinstall will fix you up. But to be honest none of the 3.x "stable releases" that I've tried ran well for me. It wasn't until I ran into "good" 3.6 nightly builds that FF 3.x started to really run well for me, be it on W7 or Vista64.

Actually, I just fixed it. I had to change to "Use custom settings for history"
