I just noticed an icon in the upper right hand corner of my desktop. It's a small black square with what appears to be a sync symbol (a circle comprised of two arrows). I can't left click, right click, or move it around. It's always "in front" meaning that no matter what I do on my computer it's present. I tried using Snip Tool to grab a pic of it, but it doesn't show up, like it's in its own layer or something.

It appears to do nothing, which worries me. Any suggestions?

Hi Matt and wecome to the Forum
Couple of things to try. Have you got a disc in the dvd tray? If so eject it and see if the icon goes away. If not boot into safe mode and see if it is there!

Thanks for the response, Mitchell.

I just figured out that it's NVidia's Shadowplay. My son activated it last night.
