strange issue in firefox

When browsing through the seven forums my theme of choice is black beta, today when i click back one page the theme changes to default then once changed it stays default going forward ,it will only revert back to my theme of choice if i refresh the browser page. is this my issue or something on seven forums end ?

Maybe check to see if your preferred skin in set as default from your UserCP.

Logout and clear your cookies/temps.

thanks airbot this may sound daft ,but as its not something i have done before how do i clear cache. ive logged out then in and made sure user cp is set

In firefox you can go to Options-Privacy-Show Cookies- Remove all cookies. You can also use something like CCleaner, but sometimes that doesn't remove all of them.

There should also be a Clear Recent History option with Firefox, and it should have a list of what it will clear when you click on it.

Ok Iv'e done that but no good i would say that before i posted the issue i tried reboot but that didn't do it either it is a nuisance as i like having a dark theme for night browsing

hmm, I don't know why then. I would just logout - go to tools Clear Recent History - then clean everything, close the browser, then log back in. Might just try it again. Usually any skin problems get fixed that way for me.



I don't know what else to try if it doesn't work.

stranger still i cant see log out button and when i go back a page and it reverts to default my "welcome boohbah " message is gone and shows login instead

strike the logout idiocy i found it at the bottom of the page. still got issue though ,i cleared history restarted browser short of reinstalling ff im not sure what to do .

Sorry, I don't know what else to say, other than the black beta skin has bugs in it, it was never completed, so maybe it's just that particular skin having problems.

update ; everything is back to normal now, ive no idea WTF went on yesterday, anyhow FF loads quicker now i cleared my history. thanks airbot!
