2 unknown account usernames or groups??????????

I don't think this is quite right. Notice the two unknowns in the attachment.

This is found in Explorer, C:\Users\Owner, PROPERTIES, security tab on a W7-64 machine.

Any help in correcting this? Control panel - User accounts only shows one user ... owner - administrator

Hello John, :)

The "Account Unknown" listed in permissions would be the SID from a user account that had accessed the item and the account is no longer available. This could be from an account that was deleted on your PC, accessed from another computer, etc...

If this account no longer needs access rights, then it is safe to delete the "Account Unknown" entries from permissions. You can click on the "Edit" button, select a listed "Account Unknown" entry, and click on "Remove".
