System information:
Windows 7 Home premium 32-bit
Toshiba Satellite

When i shut down the computer, and turn it back on i will get "Windows unable to boot normally"
then i have the options:
Configure startup repair(Recommended)
OR
Boot Windows normally

I have tried the startup repair utility several times and it has no idea what the problem is: but when i click Boot windows normally the system runs fine, can someone who knows how to fix this help me or someone who has the same problem share some information so we can try and fix it?
Thanks in advanced.

can you use system restore to go back to a point before this started? i have a feeling a service or process is interfering with the normal shutdown process and forcing windows to shutdown before it has finished it's normal shutdown procedure. this behavior is usually caused by an abnormal or forced shutdown.

I've tried that, but no restore point preceeds the problem, this problem sucks

you could always try boot logging to see where the problem is. i have not had to do it since 98 so i could not even begin to tell you how to do it. i'm sure there are others here that can help with it.
