I have a Dimension 9150 which originally had xp on it from manufacturers.

I formatted and put Win7 Ultimate on it.

Everything is working fine apart from no “Stereo Mix” option is in recording devices.

Motherboard:
CPU Type DualCore Intel Pentium D 930, 3000 MHz (15 x 200)
Motherboard Name Dell XPS 400 / Dimension 9150 (3 PCI, 1 PCI-E x1, 1 PCI-E x4, 1 PCI-E x16, 4 DDR2 DIMM, Audio, Gigabit LAN)
Motherboard Chipset Intel Lakeport i945P

Multimedia:
Audio Adapter ATI Radeon HDMI @ ATI Radeon HD 2900 - High Definition Audio Controller
Audio Adapter SigmaTel STAC9220 A1 @ Intel 82801GB ICH7 - High Definition Audio Controller [A-1]
So I put this in and disabled sound options in Bios.
Creative Sound Blaster Audigy SE 7.1 OEM PCI Soundcard - Ebuyer

I still have no sound when streaming.( well I have sound my side but the people who are listening have none.)

I have right clicked in the Audio Properties window and select "Show disabled devices"
ImageShack Album - 3 images

Just noticed in the specification for soundcard that:

OS Required
Microsoft Windows XP SP1, Microsoft Windows 2000 SP4, Microsoft Windows XP Professional x64 Edition
But it lets you download Win7 drivers.

Do I need a better card?

Please advise me if I do on which would be the best one to get.

Just reading through posts in this forum,.I do not have the ''what you hear'' option

Oh well.

With regards to your inquiry, the What U Hear recording option is supported in Windows Vista and Windows 7 for Sound Blaster X-Fi series (Excluding Xtreme Audio series) and Sound Blaster Audigy series (excluding Sound Blaster Audigy LE, SE, and Audigy Value).

If someone has time could you please point me in the right direction on getting the right soundcard for my system so I can get ''what you hear'' please.

Yes, so any pointers on getting the correct soundcard or ''all in one tv/soundcard'' would be well appreciated.
