Microsoft jumping on the HTML5 Logo Program bandwagon comes naturally after the company built strong support for the standard in the next iteration of Internet Explorer.

The Redmond company announced that it will back the new efforts to increase awareness and ultimately adoption of HTML5, debuted by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) on January 18th, 2011.
