Solved Stuck at hibernating

My Dell laptop went into hibernating mode last night after i closed my lap without shutting down. i dont know if that is supposed to happen. i left it on for a few hours.i switched it off and then back on.i removed the battery and put it back.none of these worked. what should i do ?

Hi and welcome to SevenForums!

Not sure if this works on Win 7, but try and press the SPACE key as soon as you see the message about resuming from hibernate. Hopefully you'll see an option to delete the hibernation file.
