Hey guys,

My laptop (Sony Vaio, 3 yr old) is stuck on attempting repairs in the startup repair section.

I dropped it, it was still working, 20 min later a blue screen came on and it said (amongst many other things) something about a failed memory dump.

Then it restarted, went to a different boot screen that said windows file loading. Then an older windows loading bar (used little green bits to show progress) came up, then a blue background with a cursor but no icons. A few min after a start up repair box popped up. For about 30 min it said searching for errors. Now for about 2 hours it's saying attempting repairs. I can't cancel out either.

What can I do? I'm fairly computer illiterate, sorry if this a basic question.

Thank you!!
