Stuck on "verifying dmi data pool"

Hi everyone, i'm new to the pc world, so work with me. I'll do my best to explain and look forward to having someone help me

I started my pc this morning and the screen is stuck on "verifying dmi pool data"
My OS will not boot

Recovery disc found no errors

I replaced the battery, and ran the disc recovery which found no errors
Problem still exist

What recovery disc did you use, and what options?

Do you have a windows7 installation dvd? Or a system repair disk?

Try to perform a startup repair. Does it find your installation? Can you start from dvd?

Verifying dmi pool can be memory, bios, a driver, etc.

Have you tried booting into safe mode (F8)?

Do y ou have a backup we can restore from?
