[Fixed Possibly] Turns out its a known problem with wireless n-Draft cards. Causes stuttering, no know driver fixes are available from what i found out but there is a workaround, using bat files you run at every startup. If anyone wants to know PM and i'll dig the link up again.

Anyone else getting this issue? Running 3.0.8 on 7077 32-bit...

Like, it started loading pages pretty slow (quite noticably) and my whole PC, music and everything, mouse even, stutters while it does so... I just changed it to compatiblilty for Vista and will see, but it is an odd problem.
Think it was with the browser or my wireless card i recently got? Nope, its still doing it!! when i load new pages..

edit, spaces were not getting put in

Have you tried a new profile?

I have been using 7077 for ~24 and I am not experiencing this in 3.0.x, 3.5.x nor 3.6.x

Thanks for the reply. Would a profile switch really fix this? I did a few new tests...

I just tried IE, and its just internet connection in general, when its sending info, i get the stutter... this is really odd, i've been using this wireless card for a while with 7 and its just suddenly doing this.

I thought it was a bug before from my PC going to sleep, but i restarted and reset my access point, router, and modem (and pc) to fix the slow connection and same thing, really slow and stuttering my whole box!!

You should exhaust all alternatives before thinking it is Win7 - in your shoes, I'd have called my ISP next....I would already have tried IE< another computer, and even run some speed tests....

My ISP wouldnt have the controll to stutter my PC up though, which is the odd thing and tells me its a problem on my end though, i can hop on another PC in my house and check this out though.

Whoops.

My machine has been stuttering with Firefox (3.0.8 too) when on youtube, using same OS model too... I've scanned using Kaspersky, Malwarebytes and Search & Destroy.

It is very strange, I just did a full scan of Ad-Aware, and after updating the database did a bootscan from Avast.

I have the same problem. Stuttering sound when browsing with Firefox or Chrome, in Firefox it seems a bit more severe.

I found out about DPC Latency Checker, which you can find here: DPC Latency Checker

Run it, browse, and if you see red spikes, something is wrong with one of your drivers. It's somehow interfering with your CPU causing the distorted sound.

Then try to deactivate devices in device manager one by one to see which one is the cause.

In my case it was Norton Internet security 2011! I uninstalled it and alle the hickups and red spikes are gone. Sound playing nice. Now going for Kaspersky 2012 which does not seem to have this issue.
