Hey Every1!

Style 7 is a Windows 7 theme generator. It uses the default Microsoft Aero theme as base and generates a new theme using blackbox styles. Blackbox styles are created with a single, simple, human-readable, configuration file. Thousands are also readily available for download on the internet.



You will need UxStyle Core or UxTheme patcher to run the Unsigned Themes created by Style7.

quick question, if I may, I press "install" theme and it pops out a "creating theme" dialog... where do I see this created theme and how do I go on applying it?

Browse the "themes" directory, where you installed the application.

Yes please do .. using the wrong patcher could also cause a headache.

Did that... it just shows a pop-up (creating theme) for about 1-2 seconds then nothing happens... I'm still using my Unsigned Visual Style of Choice (Soliq 7 at the moment)...

I tried the Minimalist and Flux... it didn't change the theme from Soliq7 to the one Style7 created... =(

Lol, sorry, my answer was short and to the point, but I was kidding.

I recommend downloading the trial of Acronis True Image Home 2010.

Brilliant software and simple to operate.

After install you can create a bootcd with the program, which will work even after the trial expires.

But the app is so good and relatively cheap I would recommend trying and buying it.

It has been a lifesaver many times for me.

^If you don't feel like doing that for some reason, you can also just use the built-in backup and restore center. You can access it from the Action Center under the See also section in the bottom left of the window.
