Sudden Black Screen Needs Hard Reset - Information and dump inside

Before I post the information here is the jyst of things. Whenever I play -certain- games, my computer display will suddenly go black and my monitor will flash with: "HDMI No Signal." The system is completely unresponsive to any keystrokes. If I repeatedly press ctrl + alt + delete or alt + tab repeatedly, a loud buzzing noise will begin sound off through my headset. Some of the games I experience this issue in are: Evil Genius, Guild Wars 2, Age of Mythology, Medieval 2: Total War. Yet games such as Crysis, Empire: Total War, Metro 2033, etc. I can run on max settings and never experience this issue. I do not experience blue screens, but windows occasionally thinks it does. Hello Jagblade.
It is caused by Razer Lycosa/Razer Tarantula Keyboard Driver. Older versions have BSOD issues with Win7.

Also do some general USB maintenance. For the port, first, uninstall and reinstall the USB ports drivers.

1. Right click on Computer icon > manage. It will open the computer management window.
2. Click on "Device Manager" in the left pane, it will list all installed devices up.
3. Expand "USB Serial Bus Controllers" by clicking on the triangle in front of it.
4. Click on one item to select, then right click and uninstall.
5. Do the same for all.
6. Restart the computer.
7. At restart, windows will auto configure the appropriate drivers.

And, Disable USB Selective Suspense too.

For the devices, first, detach all the USB devices other than the keyboard and mouse.
Then, Update the drivers for them all, including the keyboard and mouse, if any third party drivers are installed for them.

Daemon Tools, Alcohol 120% and Power Archiver Pro uses SCSI Pass Through Direct (SPTD), which is a well known BSOD causer. Uninstall Daemon Tools at first. Then download SPTD standalone installer from Disk-Tools.com, and execute the downloaded file as guided below :

• Double click to open it.
• Click this button only:
• 
• If it is grayed out, as in the picture, there is no more SPTD in your system, and you just close the window.

Free up the startup.

1. Click on the Start button
2. Type “msconfig (without quotes), click the resulting link. It will open the System Configuration window.
3. Select the “Startup” tab.
4. Deselect all items other than the antivirus.
5. Apply > OK
6. Accept the restart.

Uninstall AVG using AVG Remover. Use Microsoft Security Essentials as your antivirus with windows inbuilt firewall, and free MBAM as the on demand scanner.
Download and install and update those, and then run full system scans with both of them, one by one.

The issue persists despite following the instructions precisely, there are a few other things I need to mention however.

The Razer Lycosa driver is currently the latest update, 3.02. Razer Synapse 2.0 is a completely different piece of configuration software that requires a log in to use it.

The display will always go black during these games but I will not get the buzzing unless I start pressing keys on my keyboard. Pressing keys is also what causes me to get the error information I gave above upon restart. I never actually experience a Blue Screen of Death so I highly doubt my keyboard is related to the issue as it never causes trouble at any other time. It is worth mentioning that this problem has occured with other keyboards and mice being used in the system as well.

Lastly I need to mention that after following these instructions I began to BSOD whenever I attempted to restart the system. I had to perform a system repair with my windows disk to get back to the desktop after uninstalling the USB drivers as instructed.

Beyond that, scans have been run with those programs and others, nothing has been found. I do not seem to be any better or worse off than previously.

As you are saying that you are experiencing BSODs, upload the dump files. Also upload your MSINFO32.nfo file.

1. Click on the start button
2. Type "msinfo32" (without quotes) in the search bar of the start menu, click the resulting link. It will open the System Information window.
3. File>Save. In the "File Name" filed, put "MSINFO32" (without Quote), give the save location to desktop, and click the "save" button.
4. Give the time for processing, it will save a .nfo file on your desktop.
5. Zip it, and upload it following the instruction.

It will let us know how far you have applied those steps. Whatever, those steps cannot make any harm at all. So we need to be sure what exactly you have done.
