sudden black screen

Everything is running smoothly, when all of a sudden my laptop screen turns black.. Nothing on the screen at all... When I restart it says there was a unexpected fault...
this fault has happened quite often... Please can somebody help me... I've attached the dump file.

You may be describing a power saving feature. The monitor turns off (a setting you can change). You power cycle the running machine, causing the unexpected fault.

Just guessing.

This happened to me while I'm typing an email

I have the same problem, but don't think it has anything to do with the power saving settings as This happened to me while I'm typing an email.

Please help as this is really anoying
