suddenly missing control panel & recycle bin

Hi

i am just installed Norton Internet security 2014. after there a additionnel software eracer cleaned . then i get probleme controle panel not clickable & recycle bin can't see message emty bin.

i am also uninstalled norton still i have probleme please help me!!!

Try using a restore point that was taken before you "cleaned something".

click the start orb and type C in the search box.

Control Panel will come up in the list.

Click properties of the recycle bin highlite C: drive and make sure it looks like this.

@ thushy. Did these problems exist before you installed & ran TuneUp1-Click Maintenance. If not then it is the likely culprit.

I`ve used it for years and it`s never done this with Windows 7, but the only thing I use it for anymore is to delete windows update backups.

If someone could tell me how to do that without it, I`m all ears

Norton™Power Eraser this program was removed these probleme.

I also immediately spotted Tune Up utilities in the Recycle Context menu, which is never anything but problems for Win7.

Our experience in countless cases with these tweaking and optimization programs is that its best to start over to do a perfect Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 and then stick only with the tools and methods that work best for Win7 which are compiled in the tutorial.

thushy you have found some things wrong after using that removal program. The problem is their are probably more problems that it cause that you haven't found yet. You will be try to fix them as they pop up until cows grow wings.
I recommend following Greg's suggestion and do a Clean Reinstall.
