Suggest a Laptop

Hey Guys,
I want to buy a new laptop. I'll be using it for MBA. My desktop is not very fancy, no graphics card so can't play any of the latest games so I want a Laptop where I can play nice games, watch movies, listen to music so it also needs to have good battery life. Good storage capacity,memory,speed I want a good deal something that won't make a big hole in my pocket.
Please suggest something

I often suggest that people work out what their budget is and then find a machine to match it.

Other considerations are things like the period of warranty, increasingly many of the big boys offer a two year warranty.

I am not looking for a gaming laptop but want something on which I can play once in a while. I want to play games like FIFA 10, GTA IV, Call of Duty......games which I cant play on my PC, not looking for a high end gaming laptop Guess my budget should be something around $500-600

Here is a good site that has lots of info about laptop and reviews. Notebookcheck.net. This site is based in Germany however, so some of the laptops mentioned are not available in some countries. The prices are also in Euros so you'll have to convert them.

Don't buy cheapest. if want to game pay extra don't get on board sound graphics. You won't be able play newest games if want a good alternative upgrade desktop and buy a tablet.then got portable of laptop and gaming. Better then trying get everything and ending up regretting it

Those aren't "lite" games, if you're not willing to shell out for non-Intel graphics card then those games will need to be run at low if not minimum settings. Imho you really don't want to buy one of those unless you are honestly willing to put up with half-assed performance.

I had been to a mall and the salesman told me that intel 3rd generation i7 is the latest processor and I should buy that. He showed me HP pavilion dv6 and said that its the only laptop which has the latest processor and it has 1GB NVIDIA(R) GeForce(R) GT 630M Graphics Card, I don't know much about this so if you guys could help with it. I have increased my budget to $1000. Things that I want in my laptop:
1. Fast processor
2. Min 500GB Hard Disk
3. Dedicated Graphics Cards Min 1GB
4. Screen size 14-15inch
5. Weight as light as possible
6. 4GB or more Ram
