Suggestion on Lost Files

I am on my mobile and was searching for something. I don't know what I have done, but I lost all my images, audio files, video files (I mean to say the items in my gallery). I tried finding out in file manager but I couldn't find them. Can someone please help me out with this and suggest me some ways to get back my :roflmaoics. It would really be a great help to me if you do it. Please!!

If its an Android phone its normally set to sync with Google photos so it should be backed up on Google Photos
