Hi all

Hope you are staying safe?

My PC is taking an age to load after logging on (enter user name after start up)

I am also seeing masses of error code 100 as shown here.

But I can't find out what is causing this delay.

I have tried using MSconfig and disabling all but MS but the load is the same time.
Have checked my AV to see if that was causing the issue with boot scan but this was not the answer.

Can anyone suggest what might be causing this or how to track it down?

Regards

Mike

Did you try safe boot?

Do a check disk. Open a CMD window as administrator and type:
chkdsk c: (it's a read only)

If it finds some errors, type:
chkdsk c: /f
It will say the disk is in use and if you want to schedule to next start = Yes
Restart.
Back to windows open a CMD window as administrator and type:
sfc /scannow

Hi many thanks

After much work I discovered it was due to my NAS drive being switched off, guess the system has been searching for it.
