Super wide screen display question!

instead of going 4k I've been looking at super wide screen displays but I have one question needing answering first!

as the displays are basically 3 1080p monitors in a line, can they be used as 3 independent displays?

the reason I ask is I get motion sickness from large displays and gaming, as I can't see the boarders. so I wondered if you could game non windowed in the centre of the screen, while still having the sides free to multi task?

Yes you can configure for each as a individual screen. At least AMD GPU's can I I think Nvidia is with the program now as well, you may want to confirm that your card can handle 3 screens.

If you just set it up as normal multi display workstation it will work as you expect. However if you use Nvidia Surround or AMD Eyefinity it won't work like you are hoping. Tho I could always be wrong about that, I never personally used either.
