It looks great in theory from what I've just read but as all your browsing will then go via their network what is to stop them from mining it and tracking you.

Sounds like SurfEasy is a VPN. If you don't mind the ads you could try free Hotspot Shield. The paid version is about $30USD a year or $5.00USD for a month. I've used the free version for a couple of years without any issues. If I've completely misunderstood what SurfEasy is all about, I apologize.
