Hello,

From this morning my cpu is constantly at 27-25% at idle whereas before it was 0 to 3%...It's the very first time something like that happens at idle...I didn't install anything yesterday or taoday (yesterday was fine)..

i checked the ressource monitor and indeed, it shows that svchost.exe (netsvc) takes 25%...

I tried to look up the services in task manger and it shows several : Aelookupscv, Appinfo, Browser, EapHost ,gpscv, Lanmanserveriphlpsvc, Profsvc, Schedule, SENS, ShellHWdetection, Themes, Winmgmt, wuauserv.

Maybe i should disable one of the process to see which one is the culprit?

I will try to do a malwarebytes scan :((((

any ideas? maybe it is winodws update? I sad :(

Thank you for your answers

well disabling wuauserv (windows update) made the cpu back to normal...any idea what should i do?

Winodws update wasn't looking for updates when it was at 25% i'm pretty sure of it so idon't know what would cause it.

i think i'm going to do a thread on the windows update page since it would seems the problem comes from here.
