K, so Windows XP + Dual Core + Star Wars BF II = awesome.

Windows 7 + dual core (or quad core) + BFII = crash whenever I start a battle.

Can't change the affinity onto only one core, it says I don't have access, even when I run as admin. Video card can't be the problem. Ideas?

SWBF2 is not Windows 7 compatible.

You can try to run in it Windows XP Compatibility mode but that's about it, unless someone else here has an idea.

It worked fine before, when I had 32 bit, in compatibility mode, just like the other games that aren't technically compatible.

All I can really suggest it to do what you did before and run it in compatibility mode.
