Hi,
So last year I had to get a new hard drive for my laptop. Now I've realized that there are some files on the old hard drive that I need. Is it as "simple" as opening up my laptop, taking out the new HD, putting the old one in, and turning it on? And when I'm done transferring the files I need to a flash drive (assuming the old HD works long enough for me to do this), turn it off, take the old HD out, and put the new one back in? Will I have to re-install Windows on the new HD again? Will I lose any files on the new HD?
I know this is a really simple, basic question but this is my first and only laptop and I can't afford a replacement so I'm being very cautious about this.
