Synaptics/Windows 7 touch

I have access to a touch screen monitor so was looking at the windows touch. Which essentially makes use of multitouch, much like an iPhone.

Anyway, is it possible to get this same functionality from a synaptics track pad? I.e. use two fingers to zoom in and the such on a notebook.

I've come across this Enable Multi-Touch Gesture (Finger Scroll, Momentum and ChiralMotion) on Synaptics TouchPad in Windows 7/Vista/XP/Server » My Digital Life

It doesn't have the 'pinch' function that I mentioned. But does take in 2 and 3 fingered gestures. There are some nice features in it, but I would still like something like the pinch function if anyone finds something.
