There is Sync Software that allows you to sync files. What about when you save a file, there is no option in the save dialog box for any program, to save a file to another HDD at the same time to save it in the preset location. Is there any software that does ?

I tried microsoft synctoy tool but did not liked it very much.. very basic sync otions no mirror sync, in my network while sync active it hogs down too much bandwith all other network services hangs etc..
IMHO free file sync is much better
FreeFileSync | Free Security & Utilities software downloads at SourceForge.net

it has active realtime sync (can be run as service) that can detect changes, connected disk and sync automatically.

ofcourse configuration may be complex for some users but it has great help files.

it doesnt change save menu to make saves to two locations but it can sync files when folder contents changes

I have never encountered those problems, plus SyncToy has options for every type of sync operation.

SyncToy is very non-intrusive. I can't imagine what you did to get the poor performance that you mention.

most important thing it did not had the options that i needed
for example mirror (it would not mirror folder structure and content to other location one way or two ways) example on one way mirror on target location change folder structure and it will not mirror correctly

i did sync large amount of files like 500GB or more over gbit network to network share and network bandwith optimization was bad.. my internet services was disconnecting. Internet connection returned as soon as sync was over or canceled.
i have no such problems with free file sync and it has more advanced options that i need including real time sync.
is not intrusive, low on resources, once configured it can do things without you doing anything and is actively developed (bug fixes, new functions etc)..
ms sync toy is not updated for long time.

I prefer FreeFileSync over SycToy also. It is much more flexible and has the real time option if you want it.
I would be wary of using any real time sync as a backup solution as any accidental or malicious deletion on the source directory is immediately reflected in the destination so it is not secure.

I'm not sure whether you can do this with Synctoy but with FreeFileSync you can create a batch job which you can schedule using Windows Task Scheduler.

SyncToy can be scheduled to run as well, and is about as simple to set up as can be.

I can't think of a reason I would want a mirror sync to occur, because of a file was corrupted, deleted by accident, or altered in any other way....so is the other copy. That defeats the purpose and point of syncing.

With FreeFileSync you can save versions, which gets around your objection.

It might get around my objection, but versioning seems overkill for a home user. I would much prefer the good ol' storage and backup location.

Maybe, but it is that added layer of protection that makes even real time mirroring a viable backup strategy.

i just suggested freefilesync as better free replacement of synctoy. it doesnt hurt to try and have option maybe you will like it (freefilesync has clean uninstall and so on, so it would not hurt your system).
i never suggested to use my sync or backup strategy to enyone. i just explained that synctoy has many limitations and in my scenario it doesnt work.. (it can not be that evident for simple user but not for the user who wants more).

The vast majority of readers on here don't have a strategy at all. My sincerest apologies that my forum ESP plug-in wasn't working. Far too many people don't know the old addage of "RAID is not a backup". That includes mirroring of any kind. omments are meant for everyone to read...not just one person. If it was for just one person...it would be called a private message.
(freefilesync has clean uninstall and so on, so it would not hurt your system).
So does SyncToy. You're going off topic (at least as much as you suggest I was). I agree, it's always good to have options...so why blast me for suggesting the defacto standard?
i never suggested to use my sync or backup strategy to enyone. i just explained that synctoy has many limitations and in my scenario it doesnt work.. (it can not be that evident for simple user but not for the user who wants more).
SyncToy only has limitations to a very limited group. Very very few people have a need for mirroring, where they actual mean to use syncing instead. As I mentioned above, I try not to make assumptions, but I also play by the law of averages. When I get my forum ESP plug-in working again, I won't make that mistake.
why go to offtopic and discuss what is good for me?

No one went off-topic. Most people coming here don't know what they need and often confuse terminology...such as mirroring and syncing. Again, I played the law of averages, and suggested the defacto standard. It does was 99.9% percent of people need it to do. You needed something outside of the norm, even to a very unique level. There's no need to get your knickers all in a bunch because of it. Spend more time here to get the feel for the forum before getting offended by something so trivial.
