Syncing problems with Hotmail Account

Hi,
I have just started to use windows live mail and i am having syncing problems with it..

I have categorised my e-mails into different folders and some of them have 100's of e-mails with 5-10mb of attachment each.

Despite spending lot of time on it, i am unable to exclude such folders from being downloaded by WLM.

Please help me in this regard.

It sounds like the folders with the emails are already on your computer and in the program "Windows Live Mail" under the Hotmail Account group. Are you saying the folders are repeatedly downloaded so that you see multiple copies of all your folders and mail within WLM?
