system crash

I recently traded motherboards out along with RAM, and my system was running fine. I have a custom build by the way. I was on my machine for a good 2 hours before it just shut off on me, then rebooted it self. I was online playing my game when this happend, after the reboot I didn't have any video nor do the hard drives boot up nothing. any suggestions?

Did you make sure there were no standoffs left in the case that could be poking (so to speak) and shorting the motherboard? Did you plug everything in properly? Did you clean install 7? Is the RAM suitable for your system?

I checked everything, did a little troubleshooting... took out the video card and re set it but still nothing . Yes everything is fine, nothing to cause any shorts or what not.

Clean installation of 7 with the latest drivers?

its the motherboard, I tried 3 different video cards and got nothing on screen at all either I just got this motherboard today, played for no more than 2 hours before it went belly up on me. Yes a fresh windows 7 install was done..

I'd RMA the motherboard then.

Return it to the manufacturer for a replacement or refund.
