system crashes

M/b. Asus m4a79 deluxe
Ram ocz reaper 2x2gb ddr2 1066mhz indual channel
Video. Asus radeon hd3850x2
Proc. Amd Phenom quad core9550
hdd. Samsung spinpoint f3 1tb x3 in raid 5
P/s. Ocz 1200w turbo cool

System runs fine if you just leave it, but as soon aso you give it a load it just freezes... you can move the mouse around, but thats it... only option left hard restar. No blue screen, just looks like its working doing something but nothing happens...

Im new here, never had these probs before, dont even know where to start... please help, before i nail that mashine to the wall........

Start with an antiviurs scan
Download and scan with malwarebytes.

Go to event viewer and look for errors.

im running kaspersly internet security 2011 - no viruses on full scan
(and it was installed first after win7 installation and again no viruses on full scan)
SFC test - all good...
memtest - all good... (although latency it was showing 8-5-5-15 when it is set for 5-5-5-15 if that makes any difference)

in event viewer where to look and what to look for? (sorry, never used it before ;o( )

i dont know, but i found few errors in event log:

Session "ReadyBoot" stopped due to the following error: 0xC0000188

The device, \Device\CdRom1, has a bad block. ( i have two of them, which one this is, how to find?)

The device, \Device\Harddisk1\DR1, has a bad block.

To fix the errors, if it affects the operaton of the computer, is a repair install

Eventually I solved this problem. Please don't laugh...

It was old thermal paste on the processor causing overheating and once under load crashing it.
