Solved System Fan Failure

Occasionally (not every time) on startup I get an error message, "American Megatrends, System Fan 2 Failure, Press F1 to Resolve". I press F1 and the computer starts normally.

What is this all about, and should I be concerned ?

run either HWInfo or Speccy to determine what kind of computer you have (and fill in your system specs here).

I've seen this "System fan has failed" message during bootup on some old Hewlett-Packard (HP) brand desktop PCs (it's either faulty fan detection by the motherboard or the fan has physically no longer operating correctly)

It can be fatal if ther cpu get to hot it can burn out
