When using the motherboard (ASUS P5N-D) with Windows 7 Pro it keeps on freezes or hang and needed to be restarted, even with ordinary office applications. The CPU I am using is a 3GHz Intel Pentium with 3GB ddr2 memory installed. Grafix card is NVidia 6600. I did do a driver update with the most recent drivers. Can anybody please let me know what can be the problem/solution?

Hi JDH,

Welcome to the forums.

Your issue could be caused by many things such as failing hard drives, poor drivers, corruption (RAM, pagefile, System files), power settings, incompatible hardware etc. If you open up the Windows Event Viewer by typing eventvwr.msc into RUN or SEARCH followed by Enter. You may find some more information inside the windows logs (look for right time) that can help us pinpoint the problem.
