Hi,

I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium 32Bit on my Aspire 6920G (spec in my profile)

Windows 7 has been running fine with no problems what-so-ever since I installed it coming up to four months ago. Only recently a couple of times it boots up with no problems and runs perfectly normally, however, after an undetermined length of time it will go to a black screen and says something along the lines of 'Operating System Not Found'. I know this cannot be true as it boots up and runs with no problems to start with.

This has only started since I downloaded BitTorrend a few days ago and only happens after I have run the programme, so logically I'm assuming it is something to do with BitTorrent.

I was wondering if this has happened to anyone else or anyone may know what its about (maybe a virus?)

Thanks,

Barnaby

Two episodes of 'The Pacific', (purely use it for catching up on tv series). I have scanned the files with AVG and they seem to be fine according to it.

Thanks

Try a different program to see if the error still persists. I use Vuze, which has never given me any issues.

There can be many causes of this. I would look in event viewer (type eventvwr in search). Go to the windows log>application tab. You want to look for critical errors (they have red in the left column) that refer to the problem. Things like app hang, app crash, or anything that refers to this problem. Note the event ID and soource code and relay them to us.

Let us know if you need help
